JOOMLA 3.6.3 UPGRADE and HIKAMARKET - CAUTION

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4

Hi all,

For anyone looking in. Upgrading Joomla from 3.6.2 to 3.6.3 breaks parts of Hikamarket front-end portal.

We had to restore a backup we took before upgrading, and now working again.

Can you please provide more details about the issues you faced using Joomla 3.6.3 and HikaMarket (1.7.2 I suppose ?) ?

The Vendors could not select the Vendor menu to complete their profile. It would just keep going back to the Vendor Menu. This was causing us problems. Reverting back to Joomla 3.6.2 resolved it.

Hi,

But you should update to Joomla 3.6.4 or at least apply the security patch released yesterday.
We are using Joomla 3.6.4 in our different websites and for the moment I cannot reproduce your issue.

Hi all,

Upgrading to Joomla 3.6.4 takes your cart and hikamarket down.

You can't view a product listing and vendors can't access their profile in the front-end.

restored back to 3.6.2 and site is fully working again. 3.6.3, and 3.6.4 for me stop parts of Hikashop working.

I have a 3.6.4 version taken from a backup of live 1 hour ago. Do you want the link to see the issues?

Hi,

Yes, please provide a link and the steps to reproduce the problem since we don't have the problem on our end with the latest version of HikaShop/HikaMarket and the latest version of Joomla.
