Hi,
The currency type is made to generate a drop down list.
You can replace variables on the generated content, like the "name" of the select ; but you can't replace a selected value.
In the HikaShop product edition (before the new edition), the price edition used the "dupRow" JS function ; but for the currency type, we generated it with the default currency.
