No email confirmations

HI, I'm sure you've heard this one before, I've read alot of documentation but can't find the problem. We are not getting email confirmations of orders, nor is the client getting a confirmation. The order status is saying 'created' instead of confirmed as well.

I've tried everything I can think of... I'm also going to email the server... this was working on the test site, but I guess it's stopped working since we went live, but no one tested it since then... thanks!

Hi,

That means that HikaShop is not receiving the payment notifications from your payment gateway.
We actually have a FAQ which lists all the possible causes here:

Please review each point.

Hi: everything seems to be ok with my settings that I can see... right now it's sending me a notification that I made an order from the website and also a payment confirmation from paypal... however, it's not changing the status to 'confirmed' after the payment is made, therefore, the final email with the download link is not going to the customer... any ideas on that?

One more thing, I'm attaching a screenshot of my paypal settings within hikashop... perhaps you can see something there...

Hi,

The additional information you provided confirms my diagnostic.
So my answer is still the same:
HikaShop is not receiving the payment notifications from PayPal. Because of that it cannot confirm the orders.
And the FAQ lists all the things to check in that case.

So did you look at your payment log file after a payment with the debug option activated in the paypal plugin as explained in the FAQ ?
What did you get ?

I checked under configuration 'files' payment log file to see report and got this message:The log file is empty /mnt/data/vhosts/casite-391544.cloudaccess.net/httpdocs/media/com_hikashop/upload/safe/logs/report_667076887.log

The link you sent me gave me FAQ on the following:
I don't see any payment methods during the checkout, or I don't see some of them, what is the problem ?
and
I don't see any shipping methods during the checkout, what is the problem ?

just wondering if that's what you meant to send....

Any other input is greatly appreciated.

Oh sorry, I gave you the wrong link. That was the documentation for when you don't see the payment method on the checkout.
