“Stay and display a popup notice” 404 error

We are currently experiencing a problem with the “Stay and display a popup notice” function.

Currently we have two copies of the same site:

A. www.woodbender.co.za/ and B. www.woodbender.co.za/vertex/

Site B was created as a backup copy before upgrading Hikashop to the latest version.

The difference between the two sites is that site A has Hikashop (1508041003) and site B has Hikashop (1407241754). On site A we have also added some SEO functionality.

Currently the “Stay and display a popup notice” is working properly on site B but on site A it returns an 404 error.

I have already looked at the other forum posts that deal with this issue but cannot find a solution to the problem. We have also disabled all the SEO optimisation but still the problem occurs on site A.

Can you please assist us in resolving this issue? Please note that we have now disabled this function on site A.

Site B is using a pretty dated HikaShop version, obviously, and possibly an older Joomla version as well, so it works there, but you can't really compare with site A.

You see that the issue was taken care of by a "hot fix" since your HikaShop 2.5.0 build. So, download the very latest & greatest, install it over your current one, and the issue should be fixed.

Please try to replace the file components/com_hikashop/router.php with the one in this archive.
