Unable to select vendor

Hi I am unable to select my vendor when editing a product. It is ok with the first page of vendors however when i click to the next page of vendors it changes to an iframe when i click on the vendor name rather than adding that vendor to the product. Please find the screen shot attached.

Please edit the file "administrator/components/com_hikamarket/views/vendor/tmpl/selection.php" and replace near the end of the file:

<input type="hidden" name="task" value="select" />
By:
<input type="hidden" name="task" value="selection" />
The next HikaMarket package will include this fix.

Is there a way with the latest version of hikamarket to send email to vendor only when the order is confirmed not created? If i was to take a guess it would be to change the Updatable order statuses from created to confirmed in the hikamarket config section?

Hi,

In the latest version of HikaMarket, we introduce two emails options:
- Send admin notification to vendor
- Send status notification to vendor

By sending the status notification and not the admin notification, the vendor will receive an email when the order is confirmed but not when the order is created (except if you have a payment method which create the order directly confirmed).
We are currently working on new emails in HikaShop, with a new design and new features. I want sort of re-factoring of the mail system in order to have more possibilities in HikaMarket (and let HikaMarket send his own emails instead of overriding the HikaShop one).

Thanks that was what i was looking for. I have updated this setting and i think it is applied as i click back in and the settings are correct however i get a joomla error message, i do not know if this is of any importance? (attached)

Hi,

You have all explanations in your screenshot.

Please complete the Address Field - a required custom field
Please complete the City Field - another required custom field
Please complete the Telephone Field - once again, a required custom field
Successfully saved - The configuration is saved
Error while saving the vendor - well, there is an error while saving the vendor, because of the required custom field. So the vendor is not saved, but the configured is.

If you have modified the main vendor in your configuration, there some kind of importance because your modification are not saved.
If you just touch to the HikaMarket configuration, well, it is saved so the vendor not saved is not tragic.

I have set the email options to the attached and my vendors are reporting they are not getting emails when i am under the impression that they should be, is that correct?

Hi,

This option allow to send to the vendor the copy of the "order status notification" email which is sent to the user.
So when the user receive this email, the vendor should receive it too (but with his special order data).
If the notification email is unpublished or the user does not receive it, the vendor should no't receive it too.

Hi Jerome,

In my settings the status email in hikashop is published however the vendors say they aren't getting the emails. Is this something you can check for me?

I set myself up with the vendor account This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and then bought something as a customer using This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

I have attached the emails i am getting one as the customer, and one as the vendor ( I have now set both emails to yes for now) but no email for the status as a vendor, when there should be three emails, one as customer and two as vendor...

How did you confirm the order ?
With other words : From where the email is send ?

Hi Jerome,

When i did my test i sent the email by placing an order. Not paying for it, then going back to the system and changing the system to confirmed and to notify the customer. I assume this would also notify the vendor as the same process would need to happen should the paypal IPN not be successful.

With the vendors who reported to me that they weren't getting the emails those emails should have been trigged by the paypal ipn updating the order status.

Hi Jerome,

I run a test and it seemed to work changing the status of the order manually, i will see if it works now via the paypal ipn when someone places an order.

Also i had a mysql injection warning come up last night i will pm you the details about, this may have been you however i will send you the info just incase.

Hi,

Yes the warning was me.
HikaMarket includes a SQL panel which is only accessible for the super administrator. It is sometime helpful when we want to access to a raw data in the database without having to modifying a view.
We will see to improve in order to secure more the data send and not have access to all tables (and avoid this kind of warning).

It would appear the patch has not worked as we are getting a lot of complaints from customers not recieving their vouchers.

Could you please un-do what we did yesterday as we have not ever got complaints before then.

Yes I can undo the patch but I don't see any link between my patch and the HikaShop default emails.
The patch was in HikaMarket only, so I have some difficulties to understand the impact on the other emails.

Well, I removed the patch from your server. I will make new tests in my local website.

Sorry, just to expand on your last comment, we basically sell them deals, the email order number is then used as a voucher code for them to redeem. So this is what i meant by voucher. I hope that now makes sense.
