Invoice Number starts all over again.

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.0

Hi,

For some reason, the invoice number, starts all over again!

These are my current settings:



Normally the order numbers and invoice numbers were the same, but since a few days it starts all over again from 000001.
And for some reason this is only with the payment method: iDeal , if I use the payment method: Bank Transfer everything works perfectly.

How or where can i change this?

Today I have been in touch with the support department of iDeal, with the following explanation:

The following problem is not caused by our plug-in , but HikaShop itself .
Our plug-in fact only links the status of the transaction back to HikaShop through the notifyurl or callbackurl .

The creation of the invoice or writing the data to the database are part of the shop system itself (in this case HikaShop ) .
but unfortunately we can not resolve this issue for you.


what could be the problem? And what can I do to change this? Because this suddenly changed since two weeks ago.

I hope for a quick solution .

I'm sorry but If it works fine with Bank Transfer and other plugins then your issue is only coming from the way they are modifying / creating your Hikashop order which don't seems to be done like other Hikashop plugins, so we can't really help you more.

Can you tell us which third party Payment plugins you are using so the we can have more information about it ?

I'm using a third party iDeal plugin from the company Sisow
The plugin you can download over here, and is the latest version: iDeal Plugin

The weird thing is that it has always worked with this plugin and this version until 2 weeks ago!

Hi,

I had a look at the plugin's code and it looks fine.
They use the modifyOrder function call to change the status of the order during the payment notification, and at that point, the invoice id/number should be generated.
And it would reset only if:
- you had set a reset frequency for the invoice number (but that doesn't look like it's the case in your screenshot)
- or HikaShop cannot find any previous order with the order_type equal to "sale"

So I don't know what you did 2 weeks ago, but one possibility could be that you changed the order_type of all the previous orders to something else, with a mass action for example.
But in that case, the order number should also be reset for the other payment methods.
So there is something impossible here.
I'm suspecting you're not telling us everything.
