Hello -

I have recently installed OSmap and your xmap plugin.

I can find all my HikaShop products (now) but on the xml sitemap there is no "Last Modification Date" data for hikashop products.
There is data for articles.

Should this field be present?

Since I load my products via csv files, is there a field that I should include that would add the date?
(I have tried adding fields such as product_created but am not clear on the date format.)

This is not a critical problem but would like OSmap to pick up this field.

I have updated hikashop on my live site but unfortunately am dealing with 3.7 update issues and am reluctant to update my dev site.

Thanks, pitney

Hi,

That parameter wasn't in the specifications as far as I know when we developed the plugin for Xmap so that's why it's not there.
No one asked and we didn't know about it, so we didn't add it.
I've searched a bit and I think I've made the correct patch.
Here is the modified plugin:

File Attachment:

File Name: xmap_hikas...5-04.zip
File Size:7 KB

Download it and install it and it should then provide the creation and modification date for the products and categories to OSMap.

thanks, the updated xml sitemap file now shows the modification date. :)

You may want to update the documentation as follows:

The plugin is actually found in Extensions – Plugins and named “xmap – Hikashop Plugin” and not within the OSmap plugins.
As it is the last plugin in the list it is not clear how to find it.
It was not clear during my install of OSmap that Hika wrote the xmap plugin, maybe needs to be made clearer on their site.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback. I've updated a bit the text in our documentation and published the updated version of the plugin on the download link there.

For OSMap not mentioning that the plugin is not included and has to be downloaded on our website, you'll have to tell them as we can't do it for them.
