Limit order to a specific state or zip code

Is there a way to restrict registration and orders to a single state or better yet to one zip code.

For the registration, you would have to build a joomla user plugin and check the address post code in your plugin.

For the orders, yes. You can turn on the option "Force shipping regardless of weight" in the config, under the tab checkout. Then, in the menu System->Shipping methods->manual shipping methods plugin, you can create new shipping methods with post code restrictions to allow all post codes except the ones you don't want. That way, during the checkout, if the system doesn't find any shipping method for the address of the user, it won't let him finish the order.

Sure the best solution will probably be to :
- Use the "Use price per product" option of your shipping configuration page
- Go to your product configuration page
- Block or set a shipping price regarding the shipping method through the "Shipping prices" tab of your product configuration page.

If I want to only deliver to a list of postal codes (e.g. a comma seperated list in the field "shipping_min_zip"). I would have to edit Class hikashopShippingClass, mehtod getShippings, line 152 to 177, to check if the postal code entered by the user is allowed by that shipping method, right?

Or can I do an override or something?
