Shipping question

Need to set up shipping as follows:

less than $50 - $8.95 shipping
over $50 - Free shipping

I got this to work on individual items. But if the the TOTAL order is more than $50, it still charges $8.95 if there is an item under $50 in the cart.

I am having same problem, I've tried a few options and it seems that if the minimum delivery is any more than 0.00 then the shipping rule will not work, I've just installed the program yesterday so could this be somethng to do with a new update? please help

I must be doing something wrong, as it doesn't matter if an item is over $50.01, it still assigns shipping.

Freshideas, I don't know for sure what's happening but I get the same thing as you do.

If you set the minimum shipping to 0 then it should work but any rule where the minimum shipping is over 0 is not working, in your print screen your minimum shipping is 50.01 and that's why that shipping rule does not work. Hopefully some admin will come and help as I think it is a new bug

Hi, please find my post screens too. firs shippping rule is for shiiping from 0-20, second is from 20.01-100. second rule does nto work because the minimum price is not zero (minimum price is 20.01)

Hello, I have the shipping view on mine but still doesn't work. Also, I am using a fresh joomla installation, just put yesterday with the default template therefore it can't be anything with the template or joomla configurations... as I said, if I change the price of the second shipping option to zero then it will work, please see printscreen bellow where I changed the options from 20.01 minimum order to zero and this time it appears on the check out page, only problem is it shows both the delviery option and no customer in their right mind would pick the expensiver delivery. I repeat there is something wrong with the minimum price..

Fresh ideas, could you try to change the minimum price from 50.01 to 0.00 and see what happens?

Hm.. I've changed my weight configurations as above but still doesn't work.. I've read teh manual twice looking for answers and I've checked pretty much everything, two days looking in the program... has any update been brought up recently?

it was just a big coincidence that myself and freshideas came up with the same problem within 8 hours so I thougth it was a new update that we both downloaded yesterday

I am sorry for being a pain but the shipping was working that other day but now it is not and I have not a clue what I've done wrong, could you please please help??

I;ve checked the "Include virtual products price" as you suggest but still doesnt work, pls help
