Shipping per # of items not per weight

Hi,

I have been searching through the forums and didnt find an answer for this

I am trying to set up shipping per # of items instead of weight.

E.g. 1-3 items is $5.50.
4+ items is $10.50.

How do I go about this?

Well, you can just put a weight of 1kg for all your products. Then, you can create several shipping methods with weight restrictions like that:
from 0 to 3.5kg => $5.50
from 3.5kg => $10.50
