Weight of shipping boxes and packing material

Is there any way in HS to allow for the weight (sometimes considerable) of packing material and shipping boxes?

In the weight of each product, I can include all individual product packaging, but of course a series of products then needs to go into another box to be shipped, often with some additional packing material.

What is the best way to handle this in HS? How have people successfully handled this?

Hi,

If you use the UPS plugin, there is a "Weight approximation" option of the plugin that you can use to cope with the difference. For the manual shipping methods plugin, you can just set your weight ranges by taking that into account.
