Type of shipping in e-mails

I am using the manual shipping plugin for a client. They have several different shipping options based on the weight of an order as well as geographic location. All of that is working very well.

In the order e-mails they receive for an order, they want to see what shipping method was chosen. Is there an easy way for me to add that to the e-mails, or do I need to write a DB query to pull the shipping_name field from the shipping table?
