Hi,

but unfortunately this is was done by editing the CSS directly so I'm guessing that with the next update I'll have to find it again and re-edit.

You cannot edit Hikashop core CSS files using the interface ; it will copy the file you want to edit in order to give you a new one, which won't be replace with updates.

You can be sure that if we propose an interface to edit something ; it is not to make the user lost his modifications with an update.
Otherwise it means that you're not using the HikaShop interface but that you're editing the core files directly ; which is at your own risk.

Hi Jerome

So the main part of my reply was the fact that Mohamed Thelji reply was sub standard compared to the replies that are through the rest of this post which do give cut and paste CSS options to test, or at least give some pointers for us to find the parts of the CSS we are looking for. Or if there now was a section of menu driven options which could achieve the same result.

All I was asking was where the referrence made earlier in the post could now be found, as the post is very old and version have changed/improved the product... and I get the answer para-phased is "read the Docs or modify the CSS at your own peril".. Which I find is a lazy way of saying fend for yourself. The fact is I've watched ALL your's videos, and other thrid party ones as well and read the Doc and I'm still looking through the forums to find an answer... hence the forum question.

Do you no longer support the product to this level or has there been some decision in house to no longer support questions on CSS?? or can someone help

Hi,

Actually, all the CSS of HikaShop for the frontend is in the frontend CSS file that you can edit in the HikaShop configuration. And the documentation link Mohamed gave you precisely explains how to edit that CSS and how to find what CSS to edit in that CSS file based on what you want to change.
So what you're talking about:

at least give some pointers for us to find the parts of the CSS we are looking for

was already provided.
Please remember that we provide user support, that has always been the case. We sometimes give a helping hand and provide some bits of CSS but it's not possible to customize your pages for you.
And on top of that, we definitely can't give any precise CSS tips on a question like yours since with don't know how your page looks like, what is the CSS already applied to the elements by the Joomla template, the customizations that were done by you, or your template provider, etc. So with the information you provided in your message, giving the link to the documentation which explains you to edit the CSS of HikaShop and how to find what CSS to change in that CSS is the best we could possibly do.
