Urgent! Need Help in Coupon Discount Setting

Hi All, I am seeking for anyone can help as this is urgent, my sale has started and found my coupon over discount to customer! and, there is no coupon discount show on shopping cart after coupon was added. But when proceed to Paypal checkout page, the coupon discount rate is more then it should be?

I just upgraded from free version to essential.

Hope anyone can tell me which important field(s) in "Discount" I should take care after upgraded. I cannot find any guides about this.

I am using only one currency, and the setting is correct.

The 3 screenshot in shopping cart, paypal checkout page and in store coupon setting are attached. (1st is shopping cart didn't show coupon discount, I will add 2 screenshot in next 2 posts)

Also received an email from cart system title: "Paypal payment notification refused:invalid amount", the content is : "A Paypal notification was refused because the amount received (12.76SGD) is different from the order amount (22.33SGD)"

This amount is the real case customer paid, not the amount shown in screenshot, that was my example. Thanks!

Oh yah, I have added some "Discount" for the X'mas sale after my upgrading to Essential from free version.

The amount I have mentioned above for that customer: "....(12.76SGD) is different from the order amount (22.33SGD)"

The $22.33 is the 30% discounted amount from the original amount $31.90 on the Sale".
The $12.76 is the amount the customer paid after she applied the coupon.

You should first try to turn off the "send order details" option in the paypal payment plugin. That will avoid that the amount paid in paypal is different than the amount of the order in HikaShop.

I have set the Paypal plugin off, and tested another order with a $2 coupon. It still show Nil in the cart and Paypal checkout page didn't show any discount.

I went back to my tester account and view the order it show a VAT and a discounted amount same as VAT, pls see screenshot.

In my store, I have actually not required VAT, and I have turned off in the main configuration - "VAT number check" = "no check", is this right?

After checking all my tester orders in my tester acct, I found all discounts were equal to the VAT amount.

Paypal account checking found no problem, I have received the amt of 12.76.

Could you try to replace the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/discount.php by the one enclosed ?

I would do that via FTP. If you don't have an FTP access, then cpanel should do the trick. If you don't have an extension like extplorer installed on your website, you won't be able to upload the file via your back end.

No change at all.

Just a hint, I didn't use the default shipping zones, I created in the shipping some countries without states or city.

In the Hikashop main config page, the zone is 0.

Can this effected the discount system?

That should not affect the discounts calculations.
If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas. I would need from you an FTP access and a back end access to your website in order to debug the problem.

Hi,

The problem has been fixed. It came from the fact that the products int he cart had already a discount on them and from the numerous modifications we had to make in the coupon system to handle the new options of HikaShop 1.5.5
We had to change a bit some code to make it work with prices with already discounts applied to them.
