Hi there!
I analized a little a problem I had.
And I can summerize it this way:

1. I do the login
2. I click "see my orders"
3. I click on the button i placed in the right-top corner "cart" (in Italian "Carrello")
4. The system do automatically the logout when I click on the cart button
5. I do once again the login
6. Click "see my orders" but this time the page (font size and table) is not formatted as I specify in my css.

Sometimes it also happens that when I login I get the page to edit the profile, even if I disabled that function.

Try it out with
user: test
pass: test
website: www.angolocretivo.ch

Thaaaank you! :)

ps: using Joomla 1.7 and last version of Hikashop

Hi,

I just tried to replicate the problems you're describing but I wasn't able to see any problem.
First, when I login on your website, I don't see any "see my orders" link so I can't access it.
If I go to "Conto utente" and open the orders listing and click on carrello or open an order and then click on carrello, it just display the message that the cart is empty and the products listing.

No problem with CSS here either.

What page did you have when you did the login?
The one to edit the account? As I wrote, sometimes I get that page instead of the page with "see my orders" or "edit my addresses"...

That's indeed the page to edit the account information that I got. I tried several times and always got that page.

eheh, so that is a problem that sometimes I get.
I disabled the edit profile page, just to have Orders listing and Edit addresse...but as you can see, sometime you only get the page to edit the profile/account.

And "see my orders" was a bad translation, sorry, is "orders listing"! :)

Ok, I got the problem with the CSS.

I modified the CSS I use for the template (like typography.css and style.css).
But I've just noticed in the hikashop's options I can choose which CSS file use for customize it. Both of them in the Media folder.
I don't get why first hikashop use the proprieties of my css file (and for me would be obviously good), then when I click on the chart icon and I get misteriously logged out, and I do the login again, then hikashop uses its right css file (default or custom one).

And also the mistery of the first page after the login. Sometimes the Edit account page (even if I disabled the option for the User account link...right now I have it activated anyway..), sometimes the page with the icons that link you to the Listing orders page and the Edit adresses page (and that is the way it should be).

Gonna check the following days...then gonna give you my feedback.

It sounds like you have some caching going on. You should make sure that caching is deactivated in the config of joomla, the cache plugin, and maybe in the options of your template.

Hi!

I don't have any cache activated.

And I tried to access from home and from work.
The behaviour is always the same:

1. login
2. page with "orders listing" and "edit addresses" icons (and that is the right behaviour)
And everything works fine, the css read by the browser is the one of my template.
BUT when I click on the Cart icon and I get disconnected (logged out)

1. Re-login
2. Edit profile/account page (that is wrong...and appears even if I disable the plugin)
The CSS used here is the hikashop one, placed in the Media folder (default or custom).

Then if I logout and login again, the page I always get is the one to edit my profile/account.

DOH!

Gonna fix the problem this weekend for the CSS, writing all the proprieties in the custom.css file of hikashop in the Media folder.
Then will check again the behaviour.

Hi,

please Nicolas...when you have some time, could you give it a look?
I really don't know what to do. The behaviour is really weird.

Gonna send you the user and pass to access the website.

Now the css is fine.
But the problem with the logout when I click on the cart icon (the first time I do the login) persists.

After that first login, the second, the third and going on I get that Edit profile page most of the time...

Thank you!

Just notice that the problem of the cart link/icon that lead to a logout, there is also when you are not logged in (the behavior is the same..).

When you first arrive on the website, and you click on the cart link/icon you get redirected to the shop page (the page can be chosen in the hikashop settings). And it doesn't display the "there are no items in the cart" message.
Then if you click once again the link/icon cart, then the message is correctly displayed.

We'll have a look but I can't promise that we can fix it. It doesn't sound like a problem coming from hikashop but more something else which is interfering like a cache or something.

Hi,

I checked your caching and your SEF and it's correct.
I couldn't find the problem. Since I didn't had a super admin access, I could check the user options as they are only available to super admin users.

The problem comes from the way you made your logout menu. I've fixed your code and it's working now.

that's greeeeat!
I found that piece of code online, so actually I'm not able to modify it! Thank you that you did it!

The problem still present is the one that at the first login, when you click on the icon/link cart you get disconnected.
Or if you are not logged in and you click on the icon/link cart you just get redirected to the shop page without the message that say there are no items in the cart.

Do you also think could be a problem with the code for the logout link?

If you can solve it, gonna make a donation...if you cannot solve it...gonna make a donation anyway! :)

I don't have that other problem. I never was able to reproduce it on your website.
