Discounts

I need to apply a discount band to a particular type of customer. For example, we might allocate a 'band A' discount to a customer who was a distributor. This actual discount % in band A would vary according to the category of product. So 'coffee cups' for example, might carry a 10% discount in band A, whereas 'coffee beans' might have a discount of 5% in band A.

This might change to, for example, 15% and 8% respectively in 'band B'.

When an order is placed by a distributor with a band A or B discount allocation, all of the discount percentages would be automatically incorporated into the invoice. Can this be done in HikaShop?

If so, is it also possible to incorporate a quantity discount into the same transaction? So that if a 'band A' customer bought more than, say, 50 coffee cups, an additional discount of, say, 10% might apply. (I guess the quantity discount would be calculated before the band discount was applied).

I hope I've explained that clearly enough, so sorry if it's a bit muddy.

Yes, you can do that with the Business edition of HikaShop.
Discounts can be restricted by user groups and by categories of products.
You can also created auto loaded coupons which would be added automatically to the order based on the number of products in the cart.
