Problem in checkout

Hi everybody,

when i try to buy something in my shop, everything stop!
In the log file i read this:

[Mon May 13 14:49:16 2013] [warn] [client 151.33.41.92] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 90 seconds, referer: floranixena.it/index.php?option=com_hika...=step&step=1&lang=it

What's the problem...?

Hi,

Do you have something in the PHP error log.
This is your webserver log (apache2 I guess) and it just said that the PHP script stop working on a timeout.

So, it could be a PHP error or a real timeout (maybe some shipping plugins which make some external calls ?)

No way...

there's only manual shipping active.
Where can i see to find the error...?

Hi,

In your PHP error log. You have to see with your web hosting how access to it.
But the web server error log does not provide a useful information.

Can you post a screenshot of your checkout workflow configuration ?

Hi,

in attachment my checkout workflow.
I wrote to my hosting and they told me they set timeout to 600 seconds, but nothing changes...

It's normal, the problem is not that there is not enough time to process the page but that there is some code on the page which is looping indefinitely.

There must be some 3rd party plugin interfering here.
I would recommend to deactivate the plugins on your website one by one and testing the checkout each time to see which one is causing the problem, starting with plugins of the group "user" and "system".
