Checkout Changes?

Thank you I have 2 items of interest;

1. On the checkout screen at the bottom is a field called "Delivery Date" which I can't think of why I would need that. Is it possible to remove this and if so how? I have already tried un-publishing the plugin but that creates an error of it missing.

2. Just above the "Delivery Date" field on the checkout screen there is another field called "Comment" which has a box with stating "Let your message to the delivery man." and I would like to edit this verbiage.

Hello,
1. It's probably coming from one of the custom field that you configured through the page "Hikashop->Display->Custom Fields", you'll just have to un-publish it.
2. To do that you'll have to edit your custom field through the page "Hikashop->Display->Custom Fields",

This is also happening on two of my sites and I have not configured any custom fields.

PS. I believe it came for me when I updated to 2.5.0 but I may be wrong about that.

I found them in the Custom Fields area. These were not created by me.

order comment Comment Text area
order deliverydate Delivery date plg.datepickerfield

What I did to fix this was to disable the deliverydate one and to remove the default string of text from the comment one.

This seems to have worked. I am still not sure where the custom fields actually originated. Maybe my template designer?

You hit the nail on the head. Thanks. I used a JoomlaBamboo Quickstart which included HikaShop so they obviously were using the HikaShop quickstart. I should have realized. Thanks for figuring that out.
