SSL/https is working fine in my webshop. Ihave my own certificate and I'm using CCideal and ccPaypal plugin for checkout in the netherlands. No problems so far. But as soon as I am in my https checkout process, and let's say I forgot something on my site (a visitor wants to visit another page on my website and checkout later). I click on another menu and this is automatically redirected to https. I don't want that, so I enabled the hikashop NOSSL outside checkout plugin. That works fine. As soon as I click another menu on my website, the https disappears and the page goes to http. But now suddenly my checkout process does no longer work with ccIdeal. Hikashop says 'not enough infromation to process payment'. If I disable the NOSSL plugin my checkout is working fine again, enabled it is not. But I need the plugin to redirect my other pages to non https, because the lay-out changes when they are using https on these specific pages. In example my webcams disappear when using https (see: www.stripecity.nl/bijen-live and see htts://www.stripecity.nl/bijen-live) That's not OK. Excactly with my homepage. Fonts are changed et cetera.

Contacted the ccIdeal payment plugin developer about this. He looked very deeply into this, but he couldn't solve it. Paypal keeps working, but iDeal not. His solution was to put my whole site on SSL/https, but that's not what I want and need as explained.

Hope you can help me out!
www.stripecity.nl (my homepage)
www.stripecity.nl/webshop/category/honing (my webshop). Put something in your basket and see what happens if you go to another menu on my website.

Hope to hear a solution.

Hi Plukkie (and Nicholas)

Like I already replied in the email, I think the functionality of HikaShop, cciDEAL and the NOSSL plugin is probably correct. I think you might be looking for the solution in the wrong area.

The problem is actually that the site is not identical in https, probably because of insecure css files being called without https URLs for example. Same for the webcams, are they called via https URLs?

Another solution might be to tell the NOSSL plugin that cciDEAL is also part of the HikaShop checkout process. I am not familiar with the NOSSL plugin and am not sure if that is possible.

Kind regards
David

Hi,

The No SSL outside checkout plugin will automatically redirect to http if the request is made on https and that the page is not the checkout page or the order payment page or the payment notification page of HikaShop.
So if the ccIdeal plugin uses another URL than the standard payment notification URL of HikaShop payment plugins, the plugin would redirect the payment notification of the ccIdeal payment plugin which wouldn't be able to confirm the order.
I don't know how the ccIdeal payment plugin is made so I don't know what payment notification URL is used, but if that's not the standard HikaShop payment notification URL, then it would require modifying the No SSL outside checkout plugin to handle the payment notification URL of the ccIDeal payment plugin.
