different checkout Problems

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : safai 8.0.6

I have different Problems at the checkout:

1. When i am on the payment page i have to click twice on the "next" button to go to the next page.

2. At the next page appears the message: "Please fill in the payment information" and the checkout progress starts at the payment page again.

3. The final Step "order Confirmation" does not appear.

Could you provide a screenshot of all the settings of the "Checkout" tab of the HikaShop configuration so that we can see how you setup your checkout ?

Hello,

In your case you should set the "Auto submit shipping and payment methods selection" option to YES

2. 3.
Your issue is probably coming from the way you have configured the payment methods that you are using on your website, can you check that you correctly configured them through "Hikashop->System->Payment methods->'Your Payment methods'" , and also show me some screenshots of how you configured them ?

Regarding issue #1, here is the description from the documentation:

Auto submit shipping and payment methods selection : If you deactivate this option the user will have to click on next to validate its shipping/payment selection while if you activate it, the shipping/payment selection will be validated immediately when the user select another shipping/payment method.

What does that mean? What is the intention of this setting? My customer has lost money because her users were bailing out of the cart because they didn't know they had to click TWICE. How would they know? Why would you have this setting ever set to No?

Please explain: I'm confused.

Hi,

The HikaShop checkout has many options in order to customize it.
Based on how you use and configure the checkout, you might need to turn off that option so that it works like you want.
But in most cases, you want to keep it turned on. And that's why it's turned on by default in HikaShop. And we state in the documentation that you'll get an extra validation step if you turn off that option.
