Hi all,

I have a problem when the user applies a coupon to an order and the total order amount is zero.

Then is redirected to Paypal and it display 0€ to process the payment.

The settings are:

Auto select default shipping and payment methods: YES
HikaShop Paypal payment plugin > Minimum price = 1 (EUR, USD, GBP)
HikaShop Free orders validation Plugin = ENABLED

How can disable the redirection to Paypal when the total amount of the order is zero?

Thanks in advance

Fernando

Hello Fernando,
I just tested it on my end and it worked fine when I used a coupon which made my order price drop to 0€.
When your order price drop to €0 when you add your coupon through your checkout workflow, is your "Payment" step still displayed or do you still have the possibility to select the PayPal payment method ?

Thanks for your answer,

No, the "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" is set to YES so after apply the coupon yo are redirected to Paypal.

The issue only happens when you apply the coupon. With free products (price=0) the user is not redirected to Paypal.

Hi,

Could you provide a screenshot of the settings of your coupon and a screenshot of the settings of the Checkout tab of the HikaShop configuration ?

Of course Nicolas:

The site uses EUR and GBP and probably USD in the future. So I added the restriction for all the currencies.

PS: The "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" is set to NO for testing but was set to Yes normally.

Hi,

I don't see how it's possible to get redirected to PayPal if you don't have the "payment" view on your checkout and the "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" setting turned off.

If you want to activate that option, you also have to add back the "payment" view in your checkout workflow. Please try like that.

Thanks Nicolas.

You are right. doesn't matter if the "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" is set to Yes or Not, the Payment view must be added in the checkout workflow.

Now is working well.

Fernando
