Guest Checkout - Modify/Undo Selection

Hi,

I have setup HikaShop Essential (2.5.0) and have a problem with the Guest checkout option.

Currently the user is provided 3 options on checkout.

1. Login (If they already have an account)
2. Registration (If they want to register an account)
3. Guest (If they want to proceed without making an account)

If the user selects Guest and proceeds, they are unable to change this option. I would like to allow them to change this selection if they wish to do so (e.g. if they decide half way during checkout that they would prefer to create an account).

Can you please let me know how to achieve this?

It is not possible to change the checkout login/registration/guest method once it is selected.
The only way is to finish the order.

That's a pretty poor design! Why would you not provide the user the ability to change their selection?

Even if the user clears their cart half way through purchasing (and don't complete their purchase) they are still not given the login type options again. It remembers the Guest selection and doesn't allow the user to change this even when they want to start from scratch.

This definitely needs to be fixed.

Okay. Thank you for adding this functionality. While you are developing a new checkout system, could you also implement a back/previous button for the checkout stages as well please. These two features are pretty crucial for the checkout component.

You can click on a previous step to go directly to that step.

But I understand that a button could be more easy to understand for end users.

Yes, it's very hard to know those workflow steps at the top are actually links. Especially since there is a next button at the bottom right, users expect a back button to be available on the left.

I also found another feature which seems to be lacking; a clear/empty cart link (both in the mini cart, and the main cart page at checkout).

When can we expect the release with the new back/previous button?
I need it as well!
