Hi, we are testing HikaShop 2.6.0 on a fresh Joomla 3.4.4 installation with many possible scenarios.
The store is located in Italy. We have created different taxation categories to sell worldwide, you can see those tax categories in the image attached.

In some case of possible combinations, for example setting the billing address as Individual Russian (No VAT should be applied) and setting shipping address as Individual Italian, as you can see in the other attached image, something goes wrong in the cart. It displays both tax rules, meanwhile he should not even display them because the billing address is Russian, so no VAT should be charged.

Also as you can see, the payment fee is displayed with the VAT but it shoud be WITOUT VAT because the customer is Russian.

This happens in many other combinations like for example:
Billing Russian Company - Shipping Individual Italy
Billing Russian Company - Shipping Company Italy
and so on...

Hi,

1. The system can base itself either on the billing address or the shipping address for the VAT calculations based on what you set in the "Type of address used for tax" setting of the HikaShop configuration. So I suppose that you have it configured to base itself on the "shipping address".

2. Then, as the customer is located in Italy, it's normal that you see both "IVA" and "no IVA" taxes since at least three tax rules will possibly match with the situation if you still have the Italy zone in Europe and since you didn't set any zone restriction in your two first tax rules.

Hi Nicolas,

1. my "Type of address used for tax" is setted on "Billing"

2. My 2 first tax rules are the rest of the world excluded Europe (and Italy of course). How could I set a zone restiction as "the rest of the world" in a easy way? Any suggestion?

Add to previous post.

In the meanwhile I've removed the Italy from Europe zone (this this not affect anything).
Then I've created and Extra EU zone containing Russia (just Russia to do a test with a russian customer). But this seems not solve the problem.

I still have the issue for the billing address as Individual Russian (No VAT should be applied) and shipping address as Individual Italian.

Also as you can see, the payment fee is displayed with the VAT but it shoud be WITOUT VAT because the customer is Russian.

Hi,

I tested the system on my end with the latest version and there is no such problem.
If you select the billing address in the "Type of address used for tax" setting, it's the billing address which is used, not the shipping address and the tax applied (or not) correspond to the country selected in the billing address.

So the problem is either with your tax rules settings, or your zones parent/children links.
