-- HikaShop version -- : starter v2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.30
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : chrome 45.0.2454

I have installed the Austpost API v2 correctly (I hope). I am currently setting up Hika and testing.
I cannot see the cart contents or more particularly when I add an item to the cart how do I view the contents or even get to the checkout?
I can see no means of going any further.
I have added a page URL so that what I see, or do not see, is visible.

Obviously I have a configuration error but have no midea what it might be.

Hi,

Here you can configure what's to happen after a product has been added to the cart - you have some options: www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...onfig.html#main_cart

Other than in checkout, the cart can be displayed as a separate web page (= as a Joomla menu item), and/or as a module (= in the Joomla Module Manager). For the latter you should find a preconfigured module already in your module listing, and you'll see that you have again several configuration options and, as usual for Joomla modules, the freedom to decide which menu items you want to assign it to, means which pages to display it in.

Thank you for your reply.
When I installed Hika shop so many modules were installed. What is the name of the preconfigured module (unless it is 267-cart-module)?

It would probably be "HikaShop Cart Module". You would also be able to find it by looking in, or sorting the module list by, the column "Type" and look for "HikaShop Cart Module" there.

And if nothing matching is there yet, just click on "New", create a new module of the type "HikaShop Cart Module", and configure and publish it in a position and on pages as you like.

I found the Hikashop module, made sure that it was published. It says that it is in module 7 position.
My lack of experience of Joomla means I have no idea where module 7 position is.

I can still see no cart or anything that might look like a cart.

I have kept the default settings for the hikashop module pretty much at the default. But I still cannot see anything different to what I had before I installed hika shop.

What would the cart look like? :(

What are the minimum settings to view the cart?

Here is a URL
www.admingba.org.au/index.php/hikashop-m...gory/19-chalkbooards

When I add to the cart according to the buttons I see no change in that page nor any indication of a cart.

"Position 7" is referring to the Joomla default template, Protostar. Obviously, you are using a different template, so the module is unlikely to show. You'll need to select a module position of your template, and for starters you should click on the position selector and pick a position listed under your template. It would certainly also help if you had a "map" of your template's positions - best ask whoever has made your template.

To give it a try, you may try to find and select a sidebar position, e.g. the same as the one which your category menu is published to - might be something with "left".

In any case, this is standard Joomla functionality and procedure, not related to HikaShop but valid for all modules on your site. In other words, you should maybe make yourself more familiar with Joomla and its basics. There are a lot of tutorials out there on the web.

When I add to the cart according to the buttons I see no change ...

As already pointed out, the configuration as described here www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...onfig.html#main_cart gives you options for action after something has been added to the cart, e.g. to show a popup message. Why not try that?

Had a quick chat with my template designer (my sister) and changed position to left-menu and can now see cart at least. See attachment cart-view.

It is a start.

Thank you.

Now for payment options and getting Aust Post working
