Can't use existing e-mail - but used to be able to

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.5

I used to be able to have customers purchase as guests. Now when a previous customer enters and e-mail they get told that the e-mail has already been used. I looked in the configuration and the guest option is no longer there.




How do I fix this as I don't want people to have to register.

This is currently and urgent problem for my business.

Hi,

Looks like you're having the Starter edition installed. As it says in the documentation about guest checkout:

This option is available in all commercial versions of HikaShop. On the starter edition only the registration mode is possible.

However, you should enable the Login in your configuration, so that customers who have already registered can log in with their existing accounts.

Hi, I have the business edition. Maybe I was remembering incorrectly w.r.t to the guest part.

All I know is that 3 months ago anyone could make a booking but now anyone who attended before, if they try again, they get the error

Just Checked again and it seems to be only happening for one person... not sure how that happend..... but I can fix it, they must have somehow registered with the site.
