Notification of Order Confirmed status

Hi admin

I've seen a similar query to this before that you resolved but have followed your recommendations without success so please need your help. I use Hikashop (NZ) payment processor plugin & I want to setup the plugin to automatically change order status to confirmed after payments. Payments can be made with the plugin but hikashop isn't notified automatically and order status still says created instead of confirmed that is, The orders status still says created after orders has been paid for.
What is peculiar is that this used to work fine until recently, so I wonder if this has anything to do with an upgrade / setting change?

So, how do I ensure transaction status is automatically updated for accepted payments?

I've configured the specific elements of the plugin as advised by the details within the Swipe HQ developer documentation. I've disabled the Hikashop notification plugin as you suggested for a similar helpdesk query. I wonder perhaps if the problem is the "LPN URL" that I have added to the settings within my Swipe HQ settings page. For this URL I've used the following:

2. How do I prevent the Thank You for your Business message appearing when payments have been declined?

Hi,

1. If you don't receive the payment notifications, it can come from a lot of things. We actually compiled a FAQ on that issue for the PayPal plugin:

Most of the points will also apply to that payment plugin so I invite you to check each point, look at the logs as explained there, and you should be able to find the source of the problem.

2. It depends on the payment gateway. Normally, when you develop a payment plugin, you specify a return URL and a cancel URL so that the payment gateway will redirect either to the "thank you" page through the "return URL" or to the the URL of the cancel URL when a problem happened. I would recommend to contact the support of SwipeHQ for advice on that as they are the ones who developed the plugin and thus know it better than us.
