"Finish" Button on Checkout Doesn't Process Order

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0 Business
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.42
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 47.0.2526.106 m
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : None. Even through default templates.

Hello,

I'm reaching out to see if I can get a hand with this. When I add a product to the cart and go through the checkout process, once I click "Finish" it adds "step-1" or "step-0" to the URL and simply shows me the same page again. I did upgrade the site's Joomla and HikaShop. I moved HikaShop from Hikashop Starter 2.5.0 to Hikashop Business 2.6.0. I also setup some overrides within the template, but I moved them to see if they were somehow causing the problem, they weren't. I looked around the forums at the same problem from other people, but their solutions didn't work for me. I checked for JS errors, there weren't any. I also have a brief note from a colleague who was helping me troubleshoot this problem:

"I put debug code in the payment plugin but it never got triggered. I put debug code in various checkout site controller functions. The notify() function is not getting called. step() is getting called. before_confirm() is getting called and everything looks like it is working well. There is no shipping involved and I did setup a simple shipping plugin but no shipping involved since no products have any weights. before_end() is not getting called."

Hi,

I was not able to access your checkout, but I can see that you have an old build of the 2.6.0. And there was a bug in the old builds whereby the checkout wouldn't finish without a shipping method selected. So it could be the problem.
I would recommend to download again the latest version and install it on your website.
