The Joomla user is logged off upon return from Paypal

Of course, I checked all your data traces and my conclusion is the same as Nicolas, Philip, and Jerome.

This is not software I have written. It isn't part of the base Joomla product. It is all provided by Hikashop.
Are you telling me that you do not support the interface between Hikashop and Paypal? Why not? And how is a problem in that interface my problem, not yours?

We can understand your frustration, but you should understand that the Hikashop Paypal payment plugin is responsible for :
- Displaying a PayPal payment method during the payment step of your checkout workflow
- Redirecting your customers to the Paypal platform while sending them your customers order information
- Updating your customers order status when the PayPal platform redirect them to the notification URL

The Hikashop component and the Hikashop Paypal payment plugin won't be responsible of what happen on the PayPal website during the payment process, we are Hikashop developers, not PayPal developers.

Also, I wasn't able to reproduce that issue on my end so your issue can be coming from multiple factors like :
- The way you configure your website/server. For example you should make sure that your customers are properly redirected to the same domain. If they should be redirected to https:// lmphrf.org /xxx make sure they are note redirected to http:// lmphrf.org /xxx or https:// www.lmphrf.org /xxx or http:// www.lmphrf.org /xxx

- The way you configured your PayPal account. For example, you shouldn't have to use their "Auto return" option as we already send them information about the notify URL so you should also test it without that option.
==> Also, if you want your customer to be redirected based on the payment result, you should use "Cancel/Return url" options through your PayPal configuration page.
