-- HikaShop version -- : 4.7.0
-- Joomla version -- : 4.2.9
-- PHP version -- : 8.2
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox

The confirmation mails sent from Hikashop end up in the spam folder at yahoo and hotmail respectively.

At www.mail-tester.com the result is 7.7 out of 10 with the note "[SPF].
www58.my-server.de allows your server 213.133.... . not to use This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.."

From the provider I got the answer: "Here your CMS seems to set no "envelope-from". Therefore the default value "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." is used. But there is no SPF for this. Here you should check your CMS.

Can you help me please? I can't get any further. What should I do to solve the problem?

Thank you very much for your support.
Regards
langi

Hi,

I'm not familiar with the term "envelope-from".
It seems it could be the "bounce address":
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bounce_address
This page points at either the "From" or the "bounce":
stackoverflow.com/questions/13918999/how...ress-using-phpmailer
HikaShop supports both, provided they are configured under the Emails section of the Main tab of the HikaShop configuration:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...fig.html#main_emails
So I would recommend you to check the settings there with your hosting provider so that they can tell you if something is missing there or not configured properly.

Thank you very much for the valuable input.
The correct entry for the SPF record has solved the problem.
