Hi,

When I access your checkout while logged in I see this:
i.imgur.com/6QjvvIh.png
There is no error message.
When I click on the "finish" button, I also don't see any error message.
I see this:
i.imgur.com/H6xw9iM.png
There, the area with the buttons below the "please select a payment method" text is hidden by the CSS code I was pointing at yesterday:
i.imgur.com/gmYfi2w.png
If I disable that CSS with my browser's developer tools, I can see the buttons:

And if I check that animate.css file, I can still see that CSS code:

So it indicates you didn't dlete that CSS from there. Please double check.

Hi,

OK I hear what you are saying but I have double checked that file and the code has been removed (see screen capture of the file from my template). The code that you asked me to remove was at the top of this file and it has now gone.

Could that code also be in another file?

Hi,

Open the URL of the file from the website and you can see it's still there:

So either you're not editing the correct file (for example, you're editing the same file from another website, or a copy of that website), or you have some caching in place on your hosting which leads to your web server providing the old version of the CSS file.

Hi,

Thanks again for all of your help. My template vendor updated the template as per your suggestion and it all works fine now. Why it didn't work with my change I have no idea as I triple checked everything.

Just 1 question as a result of now being able to test all of the way through in Sandbox mode. Is it possible to amend the text on the final screen (image enclosed) thanking for the purchase? I have looked through all of the documentation but cannot find anything on this.

I want to add to the text "Thank you for your purchase." and remove the text "You can now access your order here."

Lastly, if I want to change the content of an email notification how would I do this?

Hello,

You will find the translation keys relative to this, in your relative payment end file : "paypalcheckout_end".
Regards

OK and where would I find this file? I have done a search of the hikashop components but cannot find it.

Thank you I have now found this.

However it is not at all clear how to amend the message on the final screen thanking for the purchase. Is there any easy way of doing this? I am not sure what is meant by translation keys.

Also how do I change the content of an email notification? Is that in this file as well?

Hi,

Translations overrides can be made either via our interface in the HikaShop configuration ( we have a documentation with indications on how to proceed here: www.hikashop.com/download/languages.html#modify ), or via the Joomla translation overrides interface ( here is a tutorial on this for Joomla 4: www.joomdev.com/language-overrides-in-joomla-4/ ). Both systems are compatible together.

The text in the emails can also be changed with translation overrides.

A further question for you. In Paypal Sandbox mode paying by credit/debit card works fine. However when I try to login to a live Paypal account to pay with that account it just keeps looping round not letting me login to the account and will only let me pay by credit/debit card. Is this because Hikashop is being tested through Paypal Sandbox mode and it will not accept a live Paypal account, or is there some other reason for this?

Thanks again.

Gary

Hi,

That's indeed correct. To pay with a PayPal account in sandbox mode, you need a sandbox PayPal account. Live PayPal accounts won't work in sandbox mode.
