Homepage module showing up on other pages

Hello:

I have been playing around with the K2 blogging feature that came with the template. I notice that whenever I click on the 'read more' button of a post, the full blog post would then load onto a new page, but between the modules from my homepage. I notice that some of my other pages, such as the 'florist access' from the footer link, also loads like this.

I know from reading on here that this is a joomla thing. When it's a module, I read that I could try and mark that hikashop module to use a different 'menu layout' which would prevent the page from loading on top of the homepage. But in this case, it isn't a module so I have no option of that sort to remove the homepage elements. So how can I define or restrict the homepage elements from ever showing up outside of the homepage, or in this case, the blog posts?
