The specifications are not displayed.
I mean ‘specifications’ just as ‘Genre’ and ‘Public’ in your standard product ‘The great gatsby’. That’s exactly what I need.
The site is still local.

First I made in ‘specifications’ 4 properties. After that I added some specifications to some products, but nothing is displayed.
I did this in the free version of Hika.
What could be wrong. (I think all common setting are allright yet, but have doubt about ‘Catalogus modus - I don’t need a cart or check-out).

(I still have the right to download an Essential version, but I can only get the .tar.gz-file, which will not install.)

I really mean ‘Specifications’, as used at some books as default products. So this must be a custom field.
And so I have to download the Essential version.

But a problem: I cannot download a .zip-file with that pacakge, only a .tar.gz-file which cannot be installed.

If you have difficulties to install HikaShop, you may want to try to install it via FTP.
This way, Joomla won't have to upload the HikaShop package on your website so the installation will be much faster.
Extract your HikaShop package in a folder called "hikashop" on your own computer.
Open your FTP software (FileZilla for example), connect to your website and upload the folder "hikashop" in the temporary folder of your website : /tmp/
Go to your Joomla Installer manager on your website backend and specify the path of your folder in the input "Install from Directory" : "\home\...\tmp\hikashop".
Click on the button "Install"... the install process should be much faster and will enable you to successfully install HikaShop.
