-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.1

Hey,

I have a strange issue in hikashop. When I save a variant I see that the value of a custom field (multiple dropdown) become empty instead of null. In the front end the custom field is not shown. When I put a null value in the database he will show the values of the parent product.

Best regards,

RG

Hi,

Please provide a screenshot of how you configured your custom field and how you configured your main product and the variant.

Hi,

I recreated a product configured similarily but couldn't reproduce the problem.
It's normal that the value of the custom field goes from null to empty in the database. But that shouldn't change the behavior of the display for the custom field, and it doesn't for me.
Could it come from a view override on your end?
If you switch to the default template of Joomla, do you have still the problem with empty values of custom fields for variants ?

When I go to the default template I have the same behaviour.

On some variants he will show it on some not. When I replace the empty to null he shows it on all variants.
If you want me to add some debug messages in the code please let me know.

Best regards,

RG

Hello,

we have recieved your references, I had a quick look, your website have a looot of custom fields, so in order to process our test can you complete your elements, with a step by step way to recreate your error.
Precise product name, custom field name (and type).

You have to understand that we can't spend time to investigate in your website ; we need the precise information in order to get directly to the issue.

Regards
