When the the minimum delay before paying the affiliate commission period is set, are the payments made based on the date of the unpaid amount/click or a certain date and is this automatic and if not can it be paid manually? I set this to 2 weeks and there is still an unpaid amount from clicks beginning on 11/14/12.

Hi,

The "minimum delay" is a filter for the click/sales. It means that, click and sales would not be count in the "unpaid amount" if they have less than "2 weeks" (for your case).
There is no automatic affiliate payment. It has to be done manually.

Let's say the delay is set to 2 hours and a click is made today. Does that mean it will be paid 2 hours from when the click is made? If so I changed the settings early this morning to 2 hours but no payment has been made for clicks that have been sitting for 2 weeks. Must be made manually and if so how do I get rid of the unpaid amounts if there is no automatic payment?

Ok I think I just got it. I must go the the partner account and click the "coin" image to pay. When I do do I get this message"

"You are about to pay $0.00 to xxxxx.
If you want to be redirect to paypal in order to pay, turn on the option below"

When I do so I got an error message but the email read:

"The order is now confirmed.

This notification was for the order N12 on the website xxx
You can access the order details directly by clicking on the link below after logging in your back end:

Affiliate program payment to xxx"

Is this the correct procedure? I'm not sure if that mean Paypal will process the payment or I must log in to Paypal to do it manually.

Hi,

It is the correct process.
Partners must fill their paypal address if they want that the paypal redirection works and you have to log-in to Paypal when you want to pay the affiliate.
The link just redirect you to paypal with an order for your affiliate (with the amount display before).

Thank you for clarifying. I have one more question. If I want to stop or pause an affiliate banner/link do I just unpublish it? I asked about limiting based on budget in a previous post www.hikashop.com/en/forum/4-how-to/63582...t-banner-clicks.html

If you want to stop displaying the banner, you can unpublish the banner. But if you want to stop the affiliation system, you should unpublish the system hikashop affiliate plugin via the joomla plugins manager.
