Payment Notifications

I keep receiving order notification from my website (boundlessfashion.com) and my client are calling me for their order but the payment is not reflecting in my paypal account, hence i cant ship the goods to them.
Please what should i do so as to get money in my pay paypal account to enable me fulfill their orders?

Hi,

If HikaShop is receiving the payment notifications, then it could potentially come from the fact that you configured your sandbox account in the paypal plugin options instead of your live account.

As PayPal support recommended, you should contact your customers and ask them for their transaction ID and give it to PayPal support so that they can trace the transaction and tell you what is going on.

Hi,

I don't think that it was where your checkout stops. At the end of the checkout you are redirect to paypal, when you have to pay (In sandbox mode you can use sandbox account to "pay" without using real money).
After payment, paypal will contact your store in order to confirm the order payment.
- You have to check the paypal payment method configuration.
- You have to check the history of your orders (in order to see "who" confirmed it)
- You have to check the payment log

If you still see nothing strange, the best would be possible to have an account in your backend.
So we will be able to check your orders and their history.

I must admit, am having problem setting up the sandbox account. am changing for another payment method. please whats your recommendation

Hi,

Using the sandbox is good for tests but you can use the production mode too.
But you have to check all points that I gave you, the sandbox mode is not an obligation. It is just easier for tests.

Hi,

Just checking your problem with Nicolas. I will try to explain it clearly.

The configuration of your plugin is wrong but it is something that we can't do anything because it requires communication with Paypal.

When someone buy something on the internet using paypal, he will receive an email, directly from paypal.
This paypal (not sent by HikaShop) contains a "Transaction Id" ; the information that Paypal needs.
Thanks to this "Transaction Id", paypal will be able to know to which one the payment has been made.

Some extra information:
if you are in sandbox mode, no real payment will be made so, you can't see any transaction or payment with the real/live account.
The sandbox is a test mode so, it can't make real transaction, all are "fakes" for test purpose.
So if you want to make a real payment, you have to not use the debug/sandbox in paypal.

Since paypal pro is only limited to few country, can i use just paypal by just inserting my paypal email in the paypal plugin?

Hi,

Paypal pro and paypal are two different services.
I don't think that a paypal pro account is compatible with paypal "classic". You need a paypal "classic" account (which is composed of an email, only).
