When payment is by Paypal it is handled here by us and with full admin priviliges it is easy to update the order progress however, if someone pays by cheque it is dealt with by someone remote from us. It would be really useful to allow that person to be able to update the order progress without having to give them admin priviliges to the back end. I'm thinking of something along the lines of an additional item on their front end shop account "admin functions" or something like which will give those designated a list of orders and a dropdown of "confirmed, cancelled...Shipped" like we have in the back end.
