The vanishing filter menu trick!!

Hi folks,

Hope you can help with this - I've been building a search module comprising 39(!) or so filters. I had put {loadposition xxx} in place on an article page so that the module could be called up from a menu button.

The module seemed to be in place OK and I was working on the css when I went to the backend 'Display' drop-down to open the 'Filters' page . . . and the link is no longer visible! I can't access the filters set up, unless there is another route that I'm not aware of, so I'm left with a site with a broken search function and no means to sort it out. Since enabling some of the filters, I also have the new 'search page' appearing randomly at the head of all the category pages.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean a re-install of HikaShop? Was it something I said?
