custom fields - variants

We are having a terrible time with tabs , custom fields and variants - I think we totallly misunderstood what we thought his could do.

I haev one question.

Without sacrificing any function ( i.e. I need title description and price to change with variation) - can the custom fields change with variants or not?

It will save us an enormous amoutn of time to find this out.

You'll just have to change the value of your custom field through your product's variants page .
