problem with categories links

Hi again,
I have a problem with the menu: in top I have the site links of the first level and in left, the same links but with all levels. If I open a page, the active link in the menu is a level below (if path is mydomain.com/products/line1-products and I clic in products, active link is not products but line1-products).
I have tried with other links of Joomla (home, Catalogues, outlet) not of hikashop and everything works well.
Please give me some clue, because I tried everything, included to do a new menu of categories.

You will maybe have to edit the view "category / listing list" to solve the problem.

Please remove the line:
$menus->setActive($submenu->itemid);
in the file components/com_hikashop/views/category/view.html.php and try again.
That should help.

You can't have the same problem as the fix I gave was added in HikaShop and that you're using the latest version on your website as far as I can see.

I checked your website actually and didn't see the problem that you described in your first message.

I did not explain it right.
I wanted to say I was a problem with active link in left position and breadcrumbs. It was not the same problem exactly.
I'll try to explain it: if I use links from left position, active link and breadcrumb are ok, but if I use links from categories and products lists of right position, then active link is not right and breadcrumbs don't display right path.
I take this opportunity to make you another question: is there an option to set a special price in a product just for a particular costumer?. I tried it with a new user group and the special price of product only for this group, but I have the problem that costumer continues being of the first group (and it must be like that) and product displays both prices. some help?

Hi,

I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say "categories and products lists of right position". Where exactly ?
Are you talking about the links of the module "Productos Destacados" ?
For that module, it's normal that the links are not correct since you didn't select your main categories listing menu item in the "menu" hikashop option of the module. Set it properly and it should be fine.

Regarding the special prices using user groups is indeed the way to do it.
I don't see why the user should stay in the other user group.
You most likely can have the new user group as a child of the other user group and thus it would inherit the rights of the other user group without seeing the price of the other user group.

I would not be a good teacher. I'm really bad to explain things. I'll try it again (and I hope, better):
I want to say: when you browse from menu to a category of products, new page show subcategories or products of this category. If you clic in these links of that page, then active link is not right and breadcrumbs don't display right path from 4th level.
Regarding the special prices, the user have to stay in the other user group due to the price of the rest of products. Price just change to an only product for a costumer in particular.

Regarding the categories, I think I know what you want now (I hope). Then, turn off the "simplified breadcrumbs" option of the configuration and the breadcrumbs will be correct.


In that case, do it differently. Instead of having a different price for the user group, create a discount on that product and for that user group.
That way the discount will only apply to that product for the users of that user group and the others will see the normal price.

Yes, You knew it, but partially: the breadcrumbs now work fine turning off the "simplified breadcrumbs" option, but menu in left position continue displaying wrong active link.
Regarding the special prices, I'll do what you said (great idea) and I think I won't have any problem.

As far as I can see, up to the third level the selection is correct and even after, the 4th level is not selected but it is the correct one subsub categories listing which is displayed in the module. So it's not that bad.
However, that module is not a HikaShop module but a menu item listing module. HikaShop has no control over it and I don't see what we could do to change that on our end.
