PHP: 5.3.20; Joomla: 2.5.9; Hikashop: Starter 2.1.1_2013-03-30
I have been tracking this one down for a few days but without success.
First, I'm using the PayPal sandbox. Orders are processed and the customer receives notification of a created order. The order status is confirmed and everything appears in order. I am using the Akeebasubs integration and that too receives the correct data and a subscription period is generated.
The customer receives a notification of three things: a created notification, a confirmed notification, a notification of a successful subscription.
The admin receives notification of a new user, a new created order (complete with name, address and order items) and a confirmation email with the title "Paypal payment notification : payment Completed for order no.C4D9".
I have been through all the items listed for this problem and can confirm that the logfile is empty despite:
a) debug being on
b) the logfile is writable (664)
c) there is no .htaccess in the path to the logfile folder
d) all folders are 755.
However, the order does contain a dump of the transaction in the order history (see below)
Can't think what I've missed but hopefully the transaction details will shed light. In one sense it doesn't matter because everything appears to be working satisfactorily, but if things ever go wrong a logfile will be most useful.

PS: for anyone without email notification be sure to check that the mail isn't in the junk folder. It was the lack of emails that started me off checking the debig option, logfiles, etc in the first place...
