Hi,

I'd like to introduce new discount scheme, say you get:
2% if you buy 2 products
4% for 3 products
6% for 4 products
etc
Setting up min. amount of products is in coupon mode. I'd like it to be done automatically - you have 4 products in the cart - your 6% discount applies.
Any ideas how to do that?

"Auto coupon" would be the solution? Meaning no other coupons apply?

Hello,
Yes the solution will be to use the "Auto load in cart if possible" option (in commercial editions of HikaShop) of your coupon configuration page to YES.
Yes, you won't be able to charge another coupon, reading that thread will probably help you : www.hikashop.com/forum/discount-coupon/8...ultiple-coupons.html

To verify, you are saying that if we setup something like this, 10 items or more 10%, 20 items or more 20%, etc. We would not also be able to offer another coupon, or do you mean both coupons would not work together?

You set up the rule to be applied automatically ("auto load") so once your client have right amount of products in the cart proper coupon is being added. Therefore no other can be.

Both coupons would not work together because HikaShop only supports one coupon per order.

Specifically, I am asking, can we have the discount coupon as stated above (which you said was fine), but also offer a coupon that would override that discount. Meaning, the customer gets 20% off 20 or more, but if we have a new years coupon for 30% off instead, they could use that to override the existing coupon.

Hi,

When configuring the coupon, you can find the option "Coupon handling of discounted products" set the coupon to override the existing discounts, by this way the coupon will replace the discount.

But as Nicolas said, you can have only one coupon by one coupon, so if the coupon is selected by default, the system will take the highest available coupon to apply it on the order. Else the customer will have to remove the current coupon to enter the desired coupon code.
