Better Hikahop Text filter

is there a way to make the hikashop text filter return more exact results? on our page ( www.doverjewelry.com/ ), the key word filter at the top is set to look in the product_code, product_name, and product_description, and it works fine in that it returns any product with any of the keywords in any of the above fields, but we want it to return the exact keywords in the ordered they are entered.

For example, searching for diamond rings, should return only rings, but currently it returns everything that has the word diamonds in it or rings, so it might return something like diamond earrings, which is completely irrelevant to the current search.

Is there any way to do this, or at least improve a little the text filter?

Hi,

Hikashop use the Joomla search system, so to change the search I think that you have to edit it in Joomla.
Or you can maybe try to edit the hikashop product search plugin.
