-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0

I have exported my Hikashop Products Excel spreadsheet on my computer.
I only want to focus on product_id, product_name,product_description, categories, price_value, price_currency_id and characteristics.
Is it okay if I delete the other columns on the spreadsheet and then import it to Hikashop?

Hi,

Whatever other column you do not use and delete before re-import, leave product_id in! It's the primary key field and necessary to "identify" existing products, so their values in other fields are getting updated.

Hi,

If I'm right if you delete the columns in your csv file and then re-import this action will only update the fields left in the import. It will not update the fields that you deleted in the csv file.

Hi,

Yes. You don't need all the columns.
If you have products with characteristics, you'll have to keep the product_parent_id column as it links the variants with the main product.

Hi,

You can do a mass action without providing a path.
When you select Mass Action. Click "New" fill in description.
Click on "Product" or "Category" Product is already selected.
Go to the "Filter then select "Product Type"
Goto "Action" select "Export Csv" now you need to click on "Process".
This should Export the file.

''' Added'
I forgot to mention that you need to select the Headers" you wish to have exported.

Hi,

Or you can simply go in the products/orders listing in your backend and click on the "export" button.
