Hello -

I am importing a csv file and need to know the allowed values for the fields.
Specifically for "files_free_download" (-1,0,1 or y,n or ?,?) and if "price_value" needs decimals.
And formatting for text fields.

It will be most helpful to have all the field allowed values published in the docs to avoid future point questions.

BTW, an excellent product, look forward to buying the product team beers!

Thanks, pitney

Hi,

Create a one or two products with the different values via the backend interface, click on the "export" button of the products listing and you'll get a CSV with the different columns so you'll know what to put in which column.
We didn't publish a listing of all the columns and all the potential values because we keep adding new columns and values and would take time to keep updated. An export of a few products is an easy way to know what to put where.

To answer your questions:
- In files_free_download you can have 0 or 1 (0 for paid downloads, 1 for free downloads)
- price_value doesn't need decimals.
- I'm not sure what you mean by "formatting" ? The description ? You can add HTML in it. The product name ? You can write the product name, no HTML, just plain text, in whatever language you want.

Thanks for the comment.
