Hi,

Go in the menu System>Mass actions. Click on the "new" button, there, in the "actions" area, select an action "export a csv file", and select the "xls" format and click on the "process" button at the top.

Hi,

If you get a CSV, you didn't select the "XLS" setting in the mass action. Please check on that.
But yes, Excel can also read CSV files so you can also use the CSV file, it's the same thing.
And that CSV file IS UTF8. See for yourself when I open it:
take.ms/w266g
So the problem is with the way you open it in Excel. You probably didn't select the UTF8 charset when you imported the CSV to your Excel and thus it used another charset and messed the display.

Hi,

It is separated in columns but you need to open the CSV with the right column separator.
Regarding your image, it looks like it's a " | " while in common CSV it's a coma (CSV = Comma-separated values)
