-- HikaShop version -- : 3.4.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.8
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.27

Hi,

I'm migrating from an old VM shop to HikaShop and are now trying to import the addresses from the clients.
If I'm correct I first have to have the Joomla! users present as HikaShop users because I need the HikaShop user_id to connect the address to right?

If I'm mistaken, please tell me what would be the right way to normally do this.

Thanks.

Hi,

In order to access to the import screen of Hikashop in the menu Products>Import, you first need to install HikaShop on the website. When you do, HikaShop will synchronize the users automatically. And then, if you want to migrate the data to another website, you'll have to migrate the joomla users with an extension made for that, then, you can import the data from the other HikaShop on your new website and then install HikaShop and it will perform the synchronization.

Hi,
By reading you reply, I have re-installed the same version of Hikashop and all the Joomla! users where synced with HikaShop.

A bit different but it worked, thanks for the inspiration.
