Hi,

I don't know what MYOB is, and how it's working.
As I can see it allow you to manage your orders, right ?

How to import orders into MYOB ? Via CSV ? Via XML ?

Everything can be possible, but it require a lot of development.

Hi Xavier,
MYOB is an accounting software similar to Quicken, off the shelf software for small to medium sized businesses.

Hi,

There is probably a CSV import tool in MYOB and so you should be able to export the orders in HikaShop and then import them in MYOB manually. That might require editing the CSV with excel to change the column names to the ones of MYOB unless it has some tool to handle that.

But there is no automatic tool for that for now.

I've successfully done this using the export order function in Hikashop to get all orders into a csv. I've found that importing the file into MS Access works best to create an automated and properly formated file for import into MYOB. Better than using Excel and you can then send an automated email as well, or use the MYOB Odbc connector.

From Hikashop version 1.59+ you'll need to format the price fields in the Hikashop data to round the values properly as MYOB rounds everything greater than 2 decimals which sometimes leads to incorrect order values and GST calculations in MYOB. It took me a LOT of time to get this right but now works perfectly.

Going from MYOB to Hikashop is more problematic especially when trying to update the inventory, but essentially connecting the two is do-able.
