Shipping price issue

Hi,

I created 4 different shipping entries in the Manual Shipping method so that the shipping price will change based upon the total order value. This worked great before, but I cannot get it to work now and I'm not sure if this is a bug or maybe I missed somthing.

This is what my entries look like

This is what the cart says (if I change the order to reflect a different total value (0-50, 50-100, 100-150 or 150 plus, the shipping price does not change)

Thanks,
MF

Hi,

Are you using the option "Use price per product" in the shipping methods ? If yes, try to disable it.

Nope, it's set to 'no' already...

These are the setting for the 4 entries (with different values of course, for the other 3, as can be seen in the image in the first post)...

By the way, we're using Hikashop 2.1.2 on Joomla 2.5.9

Hi,

Please make sure that the shipping view is in your checkout workflow option of the configuration and that the "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" option is turned on and you should always have the correct shipping method selected on your checkout cart.

Hi again,

Well, shipping view is in the checkout workflow (always was) and I've tried both the 'Yes' and the 'Only if one option is available' settings of the Auto select default shipping option, but it still picks just the first available option (the one meant for orders up to 50€).

We had this working in an older version of our shop. I really don't understand why it's not working now...

Does it work on your end in the latest version (2.1.2)?

Hi,

Yes, it works fine on our end.

Can you give a link to your shop so that we can see that ?

Hi,

You had some mistakes in your configuration.
For what I saw, none of your products have a weight. So for HikaShop, it is what we called "virtual products" (no weight > downlodable product, a virtual one).
Your configuration have a "force shipping", so the shipping methods are always called but...

Your shipping configurations does not have the option "include virtual product price".
It means that the price seen but the shippings methods is 0, because there is no no-virtual products.

You have to update all of your shipping methods to set the option "include virtual product price" to yes and it would work fine.
(I have already updated the shippings methods for "Netherlands" zone. Works good)

Ups... I thought that enabling 'force shipping regardless of weight' in the configuration file would overrule the need to set 'include virtual product price'... :|
Guess I misinterpreted. :)

Thanks for clearing this up! Great support!
