Coupon the way it was before...

So, i have this client with an old version of hikashop (@version 2.1.3) and he likes it a lot, all of it.

Few days ago, I updated his hikashop to 2.2.2, and everything was fine, until he entered a coupon. Then he went mad. He didnt like the new way coupons interact with the price.

In the attachment, i show what he want to the way it was, is there a way to put a little programming of the old version so he can be happy?
