- HikaShop version -- :2.2.3 Business edition
-- Joomla version -- : 1.5.26
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.8

Hi,

I noticed on your demo website that the menu User Control Panel is menu item type Registration form.
This results in a login form when accessing this menu. That's perfect.

On my website however the menu User Control Panel is menu item type User Cpanel. So standard no login form on this page.

How to get the same menu item type as you have on the demo website?

regards,
Udo

Hi,

The type of our User control panel menu item on the demo website is also user panel, not registration form. See here:
demo.hikashop.com/administrator/index.ph...em&layout=edit&id=96
So you already have the same type if yours is "user panel" too.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

You're right when looking at the edit view of this menu on the demo site..
But in the overview of the Menu Item Manager the menu type is Registration form

In my website the type in the Menu Item Manager is User / Cpanel

So you're configuration seems to be different. Some way you have inegrated the login form.

It's the same. It displays diferently because you don't have the same version of Joomla.
It will also display the login form on your website if you are not already logged in...

Thanks, that's clarified.

I got the impression that the configuration on the demo site was different because on my testsite after clicking on the User Control Menu a new page opens containing the login form, and after logging in one returns to the User Control Menu. While on the demo site the login form is on the User Control Menu page itself, which is far better.

I wonder why on my testsite the login form is on a seperate page.

Udo
